wrong question.

feel under pressure when asked for a quit date. makes me want to smoke more as am disappointed when can not make date. I actually enjoy smoking and smoke about a pack of 20 per week. I would like not to but stress gets to me. no body on this forum has helped me so am wondering, WHY BOTHER?????

No one will bother you can only do it to yourself, if you’re not 100 you will not do it either, I use the app smoke free and my commitment to stay quit.

You can stop smoking when you decide to commit. No body can do it for you. I chose cold turkey, motivated by cost, health, and the habit stinks. it gets easier over time.

In my opinion, all former smokers, me included, suffer from nicotine withdrawals when they quit. Some suffer more, some less, but everyone reaches a point when they say to themselves enough is enough.

For what my opinion is worth?
Personally. I could not smoke as little as you do!
I had to be 100% committed.
Enjoy your 20 or so a week habit. Not sure if I'm in front or you are???
All the best

Only 20 a week? That's about 3 a day right ? If you're only smoking that much it wouldn't be that hard to quit, in my view. I totally understand the stress thing- work out what stresses you and maybe

make a plan of how else you can manage it other than breathing in really
toxic fumes. We have all done this to the max it is just a really compulsive awful habit which affects your whole life
