Hello fellow quitters,

A nice, round number for me today. I know it sounds like a cliché but it's true - if I could do it, so can you. I was an addict in a true sense of it. My motto about smoking was "I have a will and I have power, but I have no willpower". Quitting smoking was the best thing I did for myself, and you can too. It was hard but well worth it. Good luck to you all.

NOPE - not one puff ever.

Cheers.

Congratulations my friend. I am so glad that I signed in tonight n to celebrate this glorious day with you. You were my inspiration, and your story gave the resolve to stay quit and to never tempt fate. There is no such thing as "just one". So many have learned the hard way such as yourself. I will head your advice NOPE to the end of my days.

I will add that we do have WILL and we do have POWER over our minds. With the right mindset we do not need willpower so much as a belief in our selves and an understanding of ourselves and the addiction. We can change the way we think about smoking and make the process much easier. Even some pain is definitely worth the gain. I just want to see others succeed without the slips and pain.

Again congratulations Sir Safe.

Thanks Happiness, you are my comrade-in-arms. We are done with it but won't ever forget what it's like on the other side. Stay strong.

Cheers.

Hi Safe2017. Your "name" is familiar. No doubt we encouraged each other years ago. Good to hear from a blast from the past. Good to know others are still quit.
