4 years and counting!!!

Greetings fellow quitters!
Just realized that 4 year anniversary being free from this nasty was yesterday. Time flies but one thing is certain - quitting smoking was hard but well worth it.
The good thing is that nowadays is that I have no fear that I will run out of a cigs that will make me suffer physically and mentally. Besides not being a slave to something that is consistently killing you it's nice to spend money on something else.
Thanks to everyone for sharing their stories and reading mine. Good luck in your conquest.
Stay smoke free and cheers.

Great news safe, 4 years is a long time, I hope to get to that score too. I certainly have learnt a lot from your posts, so keep on posting so that others can benefit.
Yes we are free and have no fear anymore, I hope others reach this state. Fearless and happy, Congratulations Safe.

Good on'ya Safey!
Keep following your own advice to stay safe. I do!
Congratulation's mate.

Congratulations and Thank You!
I learned to never underestimate the longevity of nicotine. You instilled that NOPE factor in me from day one. I have seen too many dare to defy the warning......so it cannot be stressed enough. Not One Puff Ever!
4 years and although I am only 2 , I am so thankful for the positive changes in my health, my finances and my self esteem. As a bonus I made friends here and have the support of you and the others. A family.
So thank you Safe for your part in helping myself and others. We are not alone. We CAN quit smoking and stay quit when we feel good about our new status.

Thanks you all! We are all in the same boat. It's great to be free and I appreciate your support.
Special thanks to Red who you changed my attitude from being a smoker who chose not to smoke to a complete non-smoker altogether. However, unlike you Red it's NOPE for me forever and ever. I hope I'll never catchup to you but I will not fall behind either.
Cheers everyone.
