1200 days

1200 days and counting. Last week I had a cig in a dream. Woke up, no harm done - never forget to practice NOPE (Not one puff ever). So many benefits to being a non smoker but if you are on this site you know what I mean.
Good luck in your quest and cheers.

Hi Safe.
The number of days since your last puff is inspiring. many of us have quit for many month's even into a year or two before! Unfortunately, we have gone back to smoking at some weak or stupid reason? So thanks to our experience's and your popular cliché' we know better!

Hi Safe Congratulations on 1200 days, and thanks for helping me in the past you have some words of wisdom in your posts, NOPE (not one puff ever) being one of them.
Yes we all know how easily it slips into your mind, even in your subconscious usually at a time when a stressful event is repeated. I bet you are glad it was only a dream.

Hi Safe2017. 1200 days a huge milestone. As far as dreaming of smoking, I used to wake up in a sweat having dreamt the same dream. That was "Margaret Thatcher" telling me to "reward" myself. We al love saying NOPE. Every day is a new milestone and the body's organs appreciate it. Besides, breathing without wheezing is a huge bonus. Enjoy the ride to freedom forever.

Another greart accomplishment Safe. Goals keep us going forward and on course. You are a true leader who we can all follow with assurance. Though you had a couple of stumbles, you got up again and persevered, a show of strength and determination. You showed me that a quit could be maintained and saved myself and countless others how to avoid that pothole. A simple , yet effective mantra of NOPE...Not One Puff Ever! That fear was instilled early on and probably kept me from tempting fate. Thankyou for your wisdom, time and effort on helping us all on our journies and instilling the belief it takes for this endevour to be met with success. Well done

Thank you for sharing this! I am planning to start my next quit attempt soon. The journey has been long and tiring, and seeing your success is very inspiring.
