Three years strong

On the 2nd of may it will be three years since my last cigarette. In the past three years my health has improved dramatically I ran a 5km marathon. Ive had baby number six and he was healthy and my heaviest baby. Ive been able to afford extra things for my children weve done things we could never afford to do before quitting. The thought of ever lighting another cigarette literally makes me sick to the stomach and the rare occassions i crave one it quickly resides as soon as i think about how much i would have to pay for a packet. My advice to anyone is of your determined to quit remove the ashtrays throw the pack of smokes in the bins and distract yourself i remember those first few months i chewed bucket loads of chuppa chupps 😂

Way to go Kristy . Well done! It is amazing how our health does improve dramatically. My new doctor didn't even utter the word COPD, in fact my blood pressure nor cholesterol was in question as it would usually be. Since dieting, or rather eating well, and yes i joined fatsecret to help me lose the extra 20 lbs i should lose. I have lost a couple of lbs in two weeks. Quitting smoking is more beneficial than losing weight, so make it a priority even if you fear putting on a couple of lbs. Just make wise choices and eat in moderation. Quitting smoking is always first and foremost for recovering your health.

Way to go Kristy86, 3 years is amazing👍😊 Thank you for sharing your amazing journey with us, very inspiring.

Chuppa Chupps seems to be a really good alternative to smoking. For those who are old enough to remember, was it Columbo or Telly servalis who used the lolly on a stick instead of a smoke?
Cheering you on Kristy86, for a wonderful accomplishment!!!
