1095 = 3 years

Today is my anniversary, it is 3 years to the day that I stopped smoking, congratulations to me
It is hard to believe that I have achieved this, I still remember those early days when I was never sure that I could get through the next hour.
I apparently am a lot more determined than I was aware in those early days.
I still have fleeting thoughts of having a cigarette, sometimes the thought turns more to an urge. But I know it would never be just 1 cigarette, because I am an addict and I have seen many others who have been smoke free for years go back to smoking, because they had just 1
I don't think I will ever go back to smoking
My health isn't good now and I think if I was to have a cigarette it would cause more problems
So if you read this remember it can be done, you just need to stay focused
Good luck everyone be proud of yourself, you deserve a pat on the back, as I do

Thanks for the powerful reminder to stay vigil and free. Congrats on a quest well done . Cigarettes never solved anyone problems, only contributed to more. Stay strong and I hope your health improves. Take Care of yourself and thanks for your inspiring words.

Congratulations Storm, yes 3 years is amazing. You should feel super proud on your strength and determination to succeed. You are right, there is no such thing as one cigarette. I once quit for 7 years and fell back into the addiction. Never again, I find quitting too damn hard. I'm 9 months free now next Tuesday and I'm loving not smoking, I've promised myself I'm never turning back again. This website us awesome and has helped me so much. Again high 5 to you Storm🖐

Such truthful spoken words, its so very easy for us addicts to return to something that causes early illness, pain and death. Are we being self-destructive ? Not sure how many times I have jumped off only to return months or years later. Your quit is great Storm, we wholly support it

Hi Storm. Congratulations on reaching the 3 year milestone. So good to be reminded that just one puff and it could all end for any of us. Leeann reminds us that it is always the case. Once a smoker, always a smoker. Just some of us manage to say NO to smoking. Just know you will be a trailblazer and inspire others.

thank you all for your comments
