5 months in

So it's 5 months in. 167 days. I had a slip up because my sister smokes and she's been coming to visit. I don't have the courage to tell her to not come . But it's too much temptation when she comes around. I stopped using NRT in January 2025 so I don't have any nicotine in my system. I still get cravings so I have to deal with it on my own. So far I have been successful.

Hi Liz.
Can relate to finding courage to ask people to not smoke at my house anymore after quit smoking. It needs to be done and your words give me strength to know I'm not alone.

You should be very proud 👏 can't wait to be able to say I haven't smoked for 5 months. Congratulations, stay strong

Hi liz. nice to hear from you again. I think most of us have restarted puffing again through out our lives. For me in my mid thirties didn't smoke for two years.
My mid forties, totally free and cured for three years i didnt smoke.
And now in my latish fifties, well over five years!
I'm completely confident and learnt my lessons to never smoke. Way too expensive.

ditto
I Don't Smoke.... Was and still is my Fav saying, even if it is just a cognitive (thought) to myself. I dont smoke is very powerful when someone (anyone) asks you or (us) do you smoke? You Know how it goes> Come have a smoke with me etc etc etc
