Never in a million years would I have thought that I could quit smoking.

Today is my 3 year milestone. And over 3 years for a friend with substance abuse.

We tell others to stop , that they are harming themselves . We judge addicts, yet we ourselves are. So if I expect them to stop, then I must also and not be a hypocrite.

When we WANT to change, when we are shown how to and BELIEVE that we too can change....... we do.

So I joined a forum and take part almost every day. It feels good and helps others so is a win win. My reward is seeing others succeed.

Some need material rewards for the milestones and that is great if that keeps you motivated. You deserve to feel good and spend your money more wisely than on a disgusting addiction. You deserve to be free and proud that you have kicked it. It is amazing how much better life is without the smokes, yet we fear that most. Or is it fear of failure or the fear of even trying?

Allen Carr guided people to quit while smoking and why not? It is a mind adjustment first and a quick , almost imperceptible withdrawal from nicotine when done right. My friend Pisces who joined here proved that to me and once she had the mindset, ripped off her patch and felt liberated. No cravings and why would she?

Quitting is a mind game or a bout of will power. You choose.

I want to feel especially good on this 3 year event. I am free and I want you to also be a happy non_smoker. Take the time to read his free e-book, yes I said free, and not even a download or anything. Just read and learn how to think differently about smoking. Learn why we smoke and how we can all quit smoking and not miss it.

Change how you think and change your life.

Yes it is mind over matter if you want something so so much it is easy. Unfortunately some smokers want to stop smoking, until their withdrawal kicks in and changes their will or their determination...

So I do thank you for pushing me hard on the book Happiness. You gave me a copy on-line here and that Quit only lasted 100 days or so. A small victory, but I didnt win the battle until you convinced me and many other almost 2 years ago, to buy the book and I haven't bothered to look back.

Actually I bought 2 books.

One is titled Allen Carr. "The only way to Stop Smoking Permanently" , which I havent read because the first book done the job and it's called:

Allen Carr's "Easy way to Stop Smoking"

Thank you sister and congratulations to yourself and your tribe and our community!

Well Done
