Day 3 - When your teeth hurt!

When your teeth start to itch, you know something real is going on.
Bizzare the differernt experiences quitting smoking brings. Its almost as if my body is craving the nicotine locked into my teeth as stains and is literally trying to suck it out of them.
But this is day 3, and I see from some shared stories this is a critical day, so trying hard to keep the faith!

Keep the faith.
It is uncomfortable at times
Try to think of something else (after you read our stories and our experiences) lol
It does get better!
You dont smoke ( yippee)
Stay with the programme ( which is de-programing your brain) not trying to be funny, although, that's what it is!
Go eat something, and stay strong in that mind.
day 4 tomorrow.
You've got this.

You've got this. You are so close. In just a few hours now, things will start to decrease in intensity. Think positive and remember all the advantages of being a non-smoker are just around the corner.
Celebrate being brave enough to face this change head on. Be proud that you are holding your own and beating that wicked nicotine addition. Deny it the feeding it needs to live on. You are in control now. Put an end to it's reign of power and know that every craving is it's death cry. You are winning.
You have it on it's knees begging for mercy. You are stronger than nicotine.
You are not alone. We are cheering you on. We survived and you will too. It is the best thing that we Can ever done for ourselves and no one ever regrets it.
Almost there.....you CAN do it!

Congrats Serganz, it's a sign of healing. A friend of mine had horrible skin itching for a while after quitting smoking. It all went away after a while.

take it by the waves of discontent. those periods are just the drugs trying to make you feel irritable and awkwardly uncomfortable. fight it hard now , to make the easier path out of it.

I had the same feeling as you . My gums where itching like mad.
It lasted for around a week for me.
I just hit 4 months smoke free ..
It gets a lot easier to deal with as time passes
Keep the faith
👍💯😬

I've heard that the third day is the worst. You can do this Sergantz. Your body will thank you.
