slipped up

was a bad boy today, a few beers & jibbering about bikes at pub, had 3 cigarettes, home now, feel stupid but that's all, a new day tomorrow so I'll stay positive & not change my stats on this site, beware of the "I'll only have one puff" trap

Ok dpen it's ok but tomorrow and the next week is going to be tough, once you've slipped the little voices come back and try to justify why continue with thequit and how you do really like smoking. I'm telling you this from experience, so you hang in there and do not buckle again, focus on why you started this journey and what it means to you to free yourself from the slavery of smoking. When the voices come just remember it's the addiction talking and nothing else. Square your shoulders, dust yourself off and stay strong 😊

ya dont need to blame the ex for the 2 puffs you had on her smoke before, but you have been reminded that one puff can lead to more.
thanks for reminding us all,,,,,,,,,,,

Hi Leeann, all done, took the dog for a walk & she told me to do it more often so as not to get in a situation like today, all good

take the dog out when ever she feels like it, but if you want to be free of smokes, dont ask her for a puff on her cigarette.

lol... How's about telling her to walk her own f...@@@ dog as cute as he is. I really thought we were joking and that you had this under control... keep the dog and tell her to hit the highway... my way!!!! You can do this Stop being nice guy.... You have heard where they end up. Find someone who cares.... Tell them to cry you a river!

That's great dpen you can do this, you just need to want to quit more than you want to smoke. Believe in yourself if you truly want to quit you will😊

Happiness I think we need to keep the comments encouraging Ok. I know you mean well, but you tend to get frustrated if people slip. Every person's quits are different, some people quit first go and other people take a few practice runs first. Just please keep the comments encouraging or perhaps refrain.

Keep trying you cannot have that just more puff your still letting the nicotine monster control your every thought and move it is controlling your life you are basically as silly as it sounds being miserable and unhappy for something you hope your never going to have again. That one puff is doing nothing for you your trying to fill the hole with nicotine but it’s nicotine that created that hole in the first place. Good luck keep trying if I can do it anyone can 😊

Dpen, slip ups happened to just about every ex-smoker myself included, so don’t blame yourself too much. Take it as a learning curve. Remember NOPE concept and you’ll be okay - not one puff ever. Good luck.

Hi Dpen.
Hope your back on track.
Slip-ups happen.
Forget about it and move toward your monthly milestone.
And keep calculating the money saved $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
