10 days nicotine free

I quit vaping cold turkey 10 days ago, i am only 21 and smoked cigarettes for about 1 year and turned to vaping instead a couple of years ago which I preferred - can’t stand the smell/taste of cigarettes anymore.
Each day definitely gets easier than the last. I had quite bad anxiety to begin with, but now it’s skyrocketed! does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this ? At the moment I am currently exercising everyday, drinking lots of water, chewing mint gum and I’ve taken caffeine out of my diet and only drinking Camomile tea which I find does help.
Also found that I have mild depression now which I never had! I am hopefully this symptom will just pass soon - does anyone else feel the same ?

If you can continue regular excercise, eat well, enjoy and remain gracious that you have completely stopped inhaling toxins you will get past it and forget anything you missed. You are in charge to stop any habit that you find hinders your progress.

Congrats on 10 days smoke free Mints123. It is early days yet and it seems you are doing things to help yourself in the physical self. You need to work on your own mental health perhaps a little more now. this could be as little as deep breathing for about 3-10 breaths, to meditating at least for about 10 mins every day.
You can write down your own Mantra or adopt NOPE (not one puff ever) and include the positives which are now in your life, this will help with any depressing thoughts which come and go. Every night list one good thing that happened or you thought about during your day mentally before sleeping, this will help your brain resolve any problems you think still exist. Stay close to this forum and all will be well.

All great advice given. You are now smoke free and nicotine free. Proud and free. So wise for such a young age and your whole life ahead of you. Life will be so much better and rewarding without such silly, useless expensive things.
