Self-belief

Hello everyone,
I've saved $185.50 this week. Without sounding like a gloating flaming Gullah, I get to keep $185.50 every week!
That was roughly what I had to fork out to maintain my smoking past-time.
$$$.$$.
When I learnt that Quitting the habit was easier than spending about $27 every single day. It didn't matter if I was sick or waiting in in a train station. I didn't think it was stupid to drive up to the shops at midnight with the blood in my alcohol-stream way to high or too low. ? Ha, That's right, pretty stupid!
Anyway. I don't have a Winfield or struck by a fancy for a Benson or Hedges like Chimney these day's.
Jokes aside.
If you want to quit this silly habit you have to commit to it completely! Dont debate it inside your mind. It can be tricky for a few day's (everyone is different). As you build on completely smoke free day's your self-achievidiness gathers momentum and the Self-Belief keeps you assured to stay on track.

Hi PuffNoMore. It is nice to see you and the others dropping in and commenting on occasion. It is even more wonderful to see that you are enjoyng your smoke free life and enjoying the money saved. We can quit smoking when we have a mind to. And there are so many reasons why we should, yet it is hard to stop making excuses to continue.......
It is easier when you BELIEVE you can, and why not, we are proof that it can be done! Very few don't rue the day they started smoking, but I have yet to hear anyone say that they are sorry that they quit smoking.

Hi Mrs Happiness. A survey was done recently that 93% of smokers wished they could Quit them, as of coarse have failed to do so! So that's alot of people who stay with their vice Big Tobacco. Infact, alot get converted to the vape. Apparently there are the "Doublers" unquote. They are the ones using traditional smokes as well as the new e-cig, jules and/or the vape.
Big Tobacco is behind everything as usual. However, some experts and scholars are starting to call them Big Nicotine lately.
Personally, i am free and happy to remain separated from it. Although I do worry for those who are still stuck in that 'system'.

Big congrats to you PuffNoMore, a great achievement. Different sources report that out of those who quit only 2.5% to 7% are able to quit permanently. Congrats, you are a part of the small group of achievers. However, never let your guard down. Recently, my friend who stayed quit for over 10 years succumbed to her addiction. 10 years down the drain. All the best to you!

All the best to you my friend. I love being free of the cycle of the next hit, The next cig. The next packet. The over-blown budget. And the shame. The embarrassment of the stink. . So I will heed your advice and wear my "self-belief" as my suit of armour as to NOT, let my 'guard down'
