Day 17

It’s been 17 days since my last cigarette and I must say I am proud. 2 week mark was very important to me because everyone kept saying that it gets easier after 2 weeks. It really does. Last 3 days, I only had one craving and was very easy to tackle. (Lasted for about 1 min) I am trying to focus on the fact that my durability and stamina is getting soo much better during exercise. Breathing also got much easier. Food and coffee(in particular) tastes sooo much better. The only problem is with intestinal motility. It really slowed down. Hopefully that will get better as well. Peace ✌️

Thank you for your kind comment. I always try to stay positive whatever the circumstance. I really did suffer the first week but all of this pain is for the bigger and better picture.

Hey! thank you for the support softly40. I am weight watching at the same time. I have attended a seminar on bad habits last year. There was this speaker who said that it was a must to replace a bad habit with a good one. I have been trying to do this from the first day of my quit. I replaced cigarettes with water. It really helps.

That’s awesome! Congratulations. I also tried to quit and lose weight at the same time. I have been fairly successful, but now, about the 5 month mark for both, I’m feeling quite restricted.

Thanks for all the lovely messages. Least we can do is to keep positive and calm to inspire self and others. TryingTK, to be honest weight watching is much harder than keeping the cravings in check. Hopefully, I will manage 😅 peace ✌️
