Hi all. I thought I'd drop a line to say that after 48 year's of chain smoking I've stayed off for 16 months. I missed my one year check in due to homelessness from the floods for 6 months. I still get an occasional crave but have absolutely no compulsion to act on it. 1 saved about $3000 before the floods hit in February just from quitting. That's not counting spending a lot as I was newly cashed up.

My six month crisis from the floods is now behind me and I didn't act on a single crave and there was plenty through march, April and May (the most stressful time). Thankfully they've eased off altogether now.

So the moral of my story is...if I can do it, anyone can.

I hope this little tale of woe helps somebody else.
