Quit poem lol

“After this pouch I quit this crap”I told myself one day
Rizlas, lighters,Ashtrays went straight in the bin,as my lungs both screamed hurray,
Feeling strong in mind about my goal I Googled every road
about quitting this evil drug for good,to find info and advice to lighten the load.
First I read that in 8 hours that the carbon in your blood is halved
And in 24 hours it was totally gone,
Well that didn’t hang about.
Taste and smell improved within the next few days, this one impressed me the most,to the point where I cooked and ate for days and had a belly as plump as a loaf.
Then I found the I Can Quit site and began to read the posts,of the guys and girls going through it,that’s where I learned the most.
Happiness told me that day to stick with it and win,Then softly gave the Mantra NOPE,how vital that has been
Then puff no more and Jess would reply with positive things to say,and I tell you this when your struggling they really helped me on my way.
As times gone by and I no longer feel the struggles that came before, the posts from you all were vital in my hour of need.
So I say thankyou,thankyou,thankyou
Once more.😀x
