Today marks 1186 days & approximately 22,000 less cigarettes smoked.

I can't believe just how fast this time has gone.

I started my journey not knowing if I would succeed & I'm proud to say that I did!

It has gotten easier & easier & I know I will never, ever go back.

Sure there are still days & I've heard it will last a lifetime, that I could certainly go for one but that feeling is just an instantaneous one & vanishes just as fast.

You too can get there. Just remember that everyday without a cigarette is a day closer to quitting for good. That's how I got myself through it.

Good luck!

Big congrats.. that's something.. dreams come true stuff.. :)

We can make this dream a reality. It starts with simply making up your mind. I think the support and information given by sites like iCanQuit help immensely.

The hardships some experience do pass and things become a distant memory.

Congratulations on your three years Ronyag. Well done.l

Thanks matik_one & Happiness.

To me it wasn't a dream but a resolution. Resolutions come true because you have control & can make it happen. You just have to be sure that now is the time you want to do it. If you're uncertain, then don't even bother.

All the best :-)

Congratulations Ronyag, it is so important to give yourself permission to have control over a negative habit, Nicotine loves to hang on just to remind you it is still there, and indeed thoughts can come, but go again so quickly we have to remember this along the way. Thanks for posting and giving everyone inspiration to achieve their own resolution and journey. NOPE (not one puff ever)

Thank you softly40.

I hope that I can be just a small part of everyone on here's drive to succeed.

I never imagined that I would or could be that one sitting on top of the ladder, to be one of those that I used to look up to, & Wow, here I am!

I have to say that it feels bloody good knowing that I've been promoted to now take on the role of hopefully inspiring others.

I can only hope that others starting out will also be the one on the top in due course
