Day 3, Still going strong, though I don't mean to bore you, I'm expressing my thoughts here, to try & make it painless as possible not smoking. Your good gestures make me feel better, & keep me looking at a smoke free life. I will let you know on a weekly basis from on, how I'm am going. Again Thankyou For Your Support
JD

Hi JD, that is fantastic news to hear you are striving along. It's okay you can post every day if you like, whatever it takes to keep that determination strong. The first week can be tough buddy. You are doing really well and you should feel super proud of yourself. Stay strong buddy. Have you taken up a new hobby or spending extra time on a current one?

On the contrary you do not bore us put remind us of ourselves when we started out. knowing i had like-minded people cheering for me made all the difference. We feel your confusion and need but we also take pride in every craving that is told that the reign of terror that nicotine once held is being unharnessed. We believe in you and that strengthens tour own belief and sense of pride.
You're doing well JD. Keep your sights on the goal. It is well worth it!
p,s. I get to go home for a couple of days. Using a walker but can see to my personal needs.
then i will return for 2 more weeks of rehabilitation. With some patience and focus I too will also reach my goal successfully. My mission is to
also retrain the mind until repetition makes it feel normal

Thankyou, Trying to keep busy & keep my mind off smoking. I love your encouragement helping me, & I do feel Super Proud of myself, thou it has only been a few days. I know in myself I can do this. Thanks Again for your support. I will let you know how I am going.

JD,
I think it’s awesome that you want to write! Congratulations on your quit this far👏🥳
You says it’s only been 3 days but for most of us, those are the hardest days as the nicotine leaves the body! Be really proud of that because you’re doing great!!

All that is said here is right JD - post every day if it helps you. It helped me immensely to reach out in my first few days. And it is so good to celebrate every single achievement with your support base here and at home or work.
4th day today - go you good thing!
Not sure what part of the Hunter you're from. I am in Newcastle. The weather over the next 3-4 days will help all quitters causes. No sane person will want to be outside smoking on days reaching 40-45 degrees.

Congrats on getting through the first 72 hours! Honestly, I think those first 3 days are probably the toughest as the receptors in your head are still screaming for a fix and willpower is not yet at its peak. Good On You! Now reward yourself with something special...
How much did 3 days of ciggies cost you? get yourself a little something to the same value as a reward. A full week from today, do the same thing. 1 weeks value of cigs into a reward for you.
