Just love the new number

1600 days smoke free cold turkey. 45 years and I would never have believed my determination. I just love the new numbers. Some are ordinary and some are so exciting. Hope you enjoy your journey as much as I do mine. So amazingly incredible. I am flabbergasted,
shocked, dumbfound, taken aback, bowled over, knocked for six, floored, astonished, amazed, astounded, stunned, flabbergasted,
staggered, shell-shocked, but rarely speechless but also flummoxed,
astonished, amazed not to mention astounded. Let me know how you feel about your journey.

Congratulations Lia what an achievement 1600 days.
I’m at 42 days today and my third attempt and this time it seems to be easier.
I’m giving up for health reasons, haven’t been diagnosed with anything but it seems to be taking my life away slowly but surely.
Coughing short of breath etc.
Can you remember how long it took to feel better. I feel a bit better and the coughing has slowed a lot.

Hi Dolly67. To answer your question. Every day felt better as did every minute or hour or whatever I had to deal with. Just knew after the torment of Day 1, I was not going back there again. Who said its was going to be easy? Just endure the ups and downs. Don't go back to Day 1...

Congrats Lia. A wonderful number. 931 days for me. At this point of my journey I am still amazed i was able to quit after so many failures, relieved I am no longer having cravings and determined to keep practicing NOPE - not one puff ever. Good luck.

It surely is the most incredible journey of a lifetime. It is almost like visiting the fountain of youth. Our breathing definitely improved within days, our blood pressure within hours, our hair and skin healthier over time. Our bodies can do the job of protecting us better again too.
Congratulations on yet another great milestone Lia. Keep on leading the parade and showing the way!

A lot of joyful words Lia, I can't add any more except "Good on Ya" Thanks for coming back, after such a great achievement.

Awesome achievement Lia and you are an inspiration to us all. I only have 1491 days to go before I make that number, by then you will be on 3091 days smoke free

Hi Lia..... an awesome achievement,
The 1st year was all about counting the days, counting n marking off the calender,
The 2nd yr was days n weeks
The 3rd yr was about weeks n months
The 4th yr was about the months and reflecting back to how many years
Noticed that you have put into your timeline..days
I decided to put my timeline into days also n WOW 1,481,
But even though this is our personal record, we can all pat ourselves on the back
on our wonderful achievement.
Now that i am working into my 5 yr, the days, weeks, months and now the years just melt away...
I never want to be on day one ever again, but we are all just that one smoke away from that day again..
Just need to stay strong n determined...
Today was a good day
Tomorrow is going to be even better..--
