Another milestone, 900 days. Considering how much my life was ruled by cigs with every aspect of my daily routine scheduled around smoke time while erroneously believing that I couldn’t live without smoking I still take my quit very seriously. One puff and i’ll be right where I was 900 days ago - addicted. Been there and never want to go back. It’s not easy but most definitely can be done with the right mindset.
With the money saved I just paid for my grandson’s airfare to visit us on Xmas.

That's the way to spend that money saved Safe. Much better than in the ashtray. What a wonderful gift to him and to both yourself and your wife. I am thrilled for you all.
Yes, we need the mindset to safe guard up from that one puff that separates us from reverting back to old habits and addiction. NOPE!!!!
Thanks and congratulations Safe, me too I am still mindful of how easy it could be to think that one puff wouldn't hurt when I know in truth for me it would I would be back to square one again. I have you all on my side this time which makes it so much easier.

That is a huge milestone Safe2017. It certainly sounds like you have a great attitude and you are thinking clearly. Having your grandson visit you is an excellent motivator. Good job!

The attitude helps but also past failures keep me on my toes. Twice before I was on pretty long quits and one puff had me right back at square one. Live and learn.cheers
