10 months Today Woohoo!!!!!!!

I am thrilled that I have actually managed to quit. I like reading posts still here and there and reading stories about others early on struggles helps me to stay on track and focused at all times. For me quitting was REALLY hard, so I never want to revisit that first 3 months ever again. I owe this website and all the good people on here so much for there support and for anyone reading this starting out it doesn't matter if you find it easy or hard, just stick to your guns and you CAN DO IT. All's you need to succeed is to want to quit more than you want to smoke and if you want that you'll get it. The freedom from the slavery is amazing👍😊

Hooray Leeann, a great accomplishment. I know how hard the first 3 months were and how satisfying it is to be free. Stay vigilant, give yourself a nice present and keep huffing but no puffing. Cheers.

Hi Leeann. Well done and you hit the ail on the head when you speak about those firs few days, weeks and months of tough times. Sometimes we truly forget how they were so tough. We hear it on this site so often, not one puff ever again. The cost of cigarettes will increase by 12.5% this Sept and same again in 2020. They will be about $330 a carton. By not smoking we have a lot more money in our unders and overs tray and can enjoy spending on life's luxuries a bit longer.

The freedom is not only amazing Leeanne but truly attainable by all who sincerely wish for it. Yes, it takes commitment and and belief. D id you get your dream by not believing in yourself? Thia is not a top paying job, nor difficult to achieve. It really only requires a belief and need to better yourself for yourself and perhaps family. It usually starts within yourself, your desire, your need , your passion. Find what resonates with you and hone in on it. Be adamant, persistent and determined. You can achieve the goal . Positivity is positively amazing!

Thank you Safe2017, Lia and happiness for your kind words. Yes I do reward myself along the way with gifts LOL I love the extra money, but that is one of so many rewards as we all know😊

Thanks Robn, you must be getting really close to your 1 year mark now. Love the milestones, it's these moments that make us realise how far we have come and I'm so grateful for all the wonderful people on here, including you Robn who wouldn't let me throw the towel in when I wobbled way back months ago. That's history now and our futures are sparkling fresh and bright, no longer in a haze of smoke LOL

Well done, my friend, you have done an amazing thing! Keep up the good work, and stay strong!

Congratulations Leeann on your great accomplishment, 10 months wow, I am so happy for you. Keep posting because you inspire me.
