Hi fellow Quitters, I’m new to this site but not new to the struggle to quit Smoking. I have read the stories of your journey and it gave me hope 52 days ago to believe that I to can win this battle, thank you for your words of encouragement.

I Nuts thank you for being the first to welcome me into this family of successful Quitters, no I didn’t stop cold turkey I used 14mg patch for 2 weeks than I went cold turkey. I needed help in the beginning, looking forward to celebrating these upcoming milestones with you.

I love the name Battle Won. It says everything, you have a goal, directive , determination and the right mindset. You have read the stories and learned and that is empowering. All the best on your journey!

Thank you for your comments Happiness & PuffNoMore, over the years I’ve lost many battles fighting this nicotine demon, however giving up in defeat is not an option. Quitting smoking is the hardest thing most of us will ever do but not impossible, I’ve learned that each passing day not smoking makes us stronger, and that strength enables us to take back our life after so many years of abuse. Taking back our life is such an empowering experience, 53 days smoke free is not a lifetime nevertheless I am so proud of what I have been able to accomplish.
