Hi All, its been 60 Days since I became a non-smoker. I am proud of myself. Come to think of it, I did not notice that the days have gone by so fast.

I have been doing cardio, walking and running. This has done wonders for my mood and appreciation for life.

One of my girlfriends saw me quit and quit as well. She's 2 weeks smoke-free now and I'm so happy for her.

To all you out there thinking to quit. Do it. Your future self will love you for it.

I am thankful to myself for choosing freedom and health over smoking.

Kennie, well done you have this under control. I think the exercise does help, its hard to think about smoking when you are doing exercise and thinking of healthy eating and living at the same time.

Wow Kennie, you've got this now.

Like me, youve had your slip-ups with some disappointments and shame, But you have educated yourself last year with Allen Carrs book and numerous help and advice on here!

I have endured some anxiety & depression lately and Its probably due to not exercising. I'll follow your lead and get back into it. I stopped playing tennis before xmas and became lazy and hence having a hard time emotionally.

I'm glad you are successfully Quit this time, It gives me motivation to carry on and exercise too!

Hi Kennie, I am new to the non smokers world but I agree exercise helps. Hard to smoke while panting lol. I know I will put weight on got my elastic skirts but walking 1 hour per day so hope it helps reduce the weight for me.

Great that you have a friend that you can help on this journey. we all could use a friend on this road. way to go.

The Great Escape from nicotine is a truly rewarding one, not only for ourselves but as inspiration for others as well. The Butterfly Effect could be tremendous. All the best to you Kennie, and everyone Homeward Bound.

Hi Geo,

I'm on day 112 today of being a non-smoker. Sticking to exercise has helped me so much. I realised before I used to smoke to deal with problems and negative emotions.

Now I run, walk and do a bit of strength training. Exercise has been helping me see things clearly and handle issues healthily.

Nowadays I forget I used to smoke. But I do check my Quit-Smoking app once in while to see how far I've come and reward myself.

Hope you are doing well on your journey too.
