Hello friends, today marks four months since I am smoke free. What a wonderful world I missed in the past 30 years while I was a smoker. I am free of nicotine and the dependency syndrome attached to it. Above all, I can hug my kids and anyone without feeling ashamed of my body smell. I walk three times a week, my new hobby, ten kilometers on average each time. I feel so much healthy and young again. Whenever I see a person smoking cigarette I feel sorry for that person but don't blame him/her because I was the same some few months ago. There is a time for everyone to wake up and enjoy the good side of being non-smoker.

Well done, it is my next milestone as well and I hope I can follow your example, first I have to cross the 100 days ;-)

Dear Markos, thank you for your encouraging words. Sure! You will do it! Just think of one day at a time: hours will become days and days will become weeks: Weeks turn to months... Important thing you feel more healthy and young every day.

That's great. I know, my niece and nephews complained at times and then they would tell me I will get cancer and it worried them. Gosh, they are only 7,9 and 11. Day 4 starting. Inspiring story Brooky. Well done. Liz
