Would you mind telling how smoking is making your anxiety worse?

Anxiety is not relieved by smoking. Nothing is. Smoking does nothing. It is time we came to terms with that so that we can quit smoking without feeling that we are missing something. Smoking raises blood pressure and causes other health issues so it is no surprise that smoking does heighten your anxiety. A reminder for quitters to cut down on caffeine as they ban nicotine as not to feel anxious or jittery.
Perhaps taking deep breaths , exercise in your daily routine and doing some meditation would help. Get good sleep and change those things that you can change and stop worrying about what you cannot change. Learn acceptance.
You can make the change to a happy non-smoker. There are so many benefits. Make those smokes unenjoyable. Smoke alone, doing nothing and think about each and every one. Make them something you want to be free of.
