Hi everyone made it through surgery recovery is going very well

No need for ciggeraties now as surgery was on the throat

Can eat and talk and drink which is good signs

Staying an extra night near the hospital just a in case anything is to happen .

I'm actually surprised no urge to smoke for the last 2 days 🚭🚭🤞🤞

Maybe you are in the right mind set and truly grateful and enjoying the freedom of being a non-smoker. It makes an immense difference. I am happy to know that your surgery went well and that you are recovering nicely. We will never know if smoking was the difference, presumeably so, but we know it is definitely better not to poison your body. There is no rational reason to smoke, only excuses to cover an addiction. I am so glad that you feel the same about quitting smoking now that the main reason is over. There are so many good reasons to quit, or never start, or to stay quit or keep trying to quit.

Again congratulations! You are doing GREAT!
