7 Weeks In

Since my last post, at my 6 week celebration, my first ever grandbaby has been born. 9 pound 3 ounce healthy baby boy.
His other grandma is a smoker. Glad I don't have to worry about my smell, or about my cleanliness, or about having to leave the premises and move away from him for whole minutes to answer the slavemaster's call.
Glad I will be around a whole lot longer to be a part of his life, and that of any brothers/sisters/cousins to come.
If ever I feel the need to reach for a cancer-stick again, I will reach for my phone instead, and take a look at that beautiful face in my photo gallery.

Congratulations Lando, its so wonderful becoming a grandparent, i too am a nanna💞 7 weeks is awesome, you are going great guns, so stay focused and enjoy the beautiful baby x

Enjoy being a grandma Lando and enjoy your golden years in health. You are a great inspiration.

Congratulations on your two events, 7 weeks Smoke Free and a new addition to your lovely family. What a big boy! keep going with your commitment to not smoke and maybe think of exercises to hold that big bundle of joy close to you.

Hi There Lando,
I know all too well that Smoking around my grandchildren fills their parents with dread and myself with guilt. I'm so glad I dont smoke now. I also thank you for asking when my last smoke might be! At the time I thought you were a little cheeky, and so I said "when I'm ready" .... I thought about it a few minutes And said "In 2 or 3 days time" LOL So I had to coincide the finishing of the Carr book, with my last smoke and within the time frame too!
Cheers to you and your 7 week milestone. I'm 2 weeks Today!
YIPPEE.

Good on you Sir Puff-No-More. 2 weeks! Awesome going mate!
Doesn't matter where the motivation comes from, it matters only that it's effective. Glad to be of service.

Now you’re almost 9 weeks in Lando. What a great achievement! Having a grand child is my inspiration for stopping smoking too. Her mother begging me to stop smoking 25 years ago, when she was about 7-8 still haunts me.
