Guilt

I had been smoking for 55 years & have had years of stopping & starting for years. I have COPD but was in complete denial re the seriousness of my addiction & it’s impact on my life in so many ways. I have now been meditating daily with the Breethe app which features Addiction as well as many other meditations. It had helped a great deal & I am hoping that this time IQuit for good. I feel like a different person

hi D J S,
I think we all were guilty of denial about how much damage the smokes were doing to us. Too bad about your COPD, I hope its not affecting your mobility too much?
Re your stopping and starting, did you find it easy to stop and what do you think contributed to you starting again?

Welcome DJS and all the best to you in your quit. I am glad to hear that you are feeling the benefits of quitting this terrible addiction even after a long 55 years. I never thought i could quit after 45 but here we are and succeeding! Who'd a thunk it? Anyone can quit with the right motivation, support, tools and belief!
