Positive Reinforcement

I was telling my boss yesterday afternoon (we were all having a casual chat just before knock off time) that she needs to quit for the sake of her grandchildren if not for herself, and she said that I was looking a lot better since I have quit. One of my male colleagues (who also smokes, that I have been nagging a lot because he has 6 children! - he now calls me Quitter...) said "yes, your skin is glowing".

I went home on a real high, for something like that to come from someone who has been giving me a hard time about having given up (we both stir each other up a lot and I haven't taken anything anything he has said to heart) meant a lot.
