I am glad I quit

Howdy everyone,
Last week I had to go to Ashgabad, Turkmenistan (in Central Asia). Upon arrival we were asked if we carried any cigarettes into the country. Glad I don't smoke anymore because import fee is $20.00 per pack. Smoking is prohibited in public places, fines are stiff for smoking, cameras everywhere and cops come within minutes to fine smokers and not too many places to smoke at all. My coworker is a smoker and I had sympathy pains for him but so so glad that it wasn't I who suffered. I got my freedom from cigs and I couldn't be feeling any better about it. Just a bit over a year ago I didn't think I could ever stop over 40 years of smoking but it really is possible. Good luck everyone and you can do it too.

Thanks for the inspiration, and the great story - that should happen here in australia. I bet they don't sell tobacco in their stores.
