Reaching 5 years

Here I’m again after one year to share with you an update – it’s been 5 years since I finally extinguished my last cigarette..
It’s something what I couldn’t even imagine at that time.. My short-term goal was 1 year, then long term goal was 1.000 days, but I never foreseen too far to believe me as 5 years smokefree guy.. 😊 It’s amazing..
I’m glad for my past myself that I was able to achieve this for my “better me” in the future.. It wasn’t easy, but it was worthy.. I don’t see myself as smoker anymore, that smoke guy is foreign to me as it wasn’t me.. 😊
I wish you that you can allow to your future yourself feel that proud, that you did for you something huge and it wasn’t easy.. Keep going, keep pushing hard as one exercise saying: the easy day was yesterday,..
30th post here , 5 years behind me.. I’ll post here one per year to remind me and share with you the happiness.. 😉

Congrats on that wonderful milestone of 5 years Matik-1.
The happiness that comes with that is why I chose my name. As you may know, I came a month or so after an easy quit and wanted to share my success. I was happy in my decision and success with going cold turkey.
Seeing is believing, as they say. We are proof that it can be done and will look forward to your post in another year!

Another encouraging post. Thank you for supporting the new non-smokers. I actually hope, "the easy day is tomorrow". Five years is a huge milestone. One milestone at a time I suppose. My milestone is to make it one month... better than one week or one day! Thanks again!
