Over 3500 days quit cold turkey. Never looked back. A couple of months away from 10 years quit. Not gloating but letting wanna be quitters know it can be done. Being able to breathe is a bonus. Not an ashtray in sight.
That's a lot of ash money Lia. And congrats on nearing the big 10 year mark.
I am sure that for some it feels like a great goal, but the ultimate goal is to never smoke again, We have put smoking in the past and markers come and go with ease now. That is not to minimize the accomplishment that we long time quitters achieved in any way. We should be proud of our conviction and desire to change. We can only hope that we inspire others to believe that they CAN do the same.
It is always so nice to see long time members posting and encouraging! I hope that others will follow that example too!
