My one year smoke free today!!!
Hi everyone, today is my one year smoke free celebration! I'm super proud and happy! I feel better and look somewhat better as well. It was not an easy year, but I found my triggers, most of them, and made changes. Also, now when I smell cigarette smoke outside, I feel like all the other ex-smokers and want to scream at people to quit...but I don't. I feel like a veil of sickness was covering me for 40 years and the veil finally came off when I quit smoking. It's heard to describe this feeling, which you will only feel and appreciate when you quit as well. Hang in there everyone, If I can, you can!

When did you flip the corner? I mean,,,,,was it around 3 days or maybe after 100 days or so?
One thing is certain, we've made a smart decision because "We Dont Smoke"
Thanks, the veil of sickness came off at about 2 months after quitting. Well, that's when I noticed it. Probably due to of course no longer smoking but also eating better and moving around more.
