Good Afternoon I have now reached 12 months since i quit back on 21/09/2023, during the period 9 month to 12 months i was advised wisely on here to no become over confident, and i did feel both overconfident at times as well as being very over cautious at times but one thing is i think less and less about smoking, one thing is for sure this site and reading as many past stories and experiences is the best way to get the mind focused on quitting and the positives of quitting , it really does change your life :)

this site has so much support from those who are just starting out to support and advice from those , who have succeeded and have been quit long term that return to celebrate and share those long term milestones of many years , they show that it is possible to quit and remain quit ongoing for many years.

Yes this site is very helpful, so many great stories here to encourage and inspire those on the journey. Everyday smoke free can improve your health and of course financially. Keep at it 2bfree, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!!! Cheers

Congratulations and we have broken (the camels back), The habitual cycle & any residual addiction at one year, in my experience!
It is so important to remain smoke-free as we are setting ourselves for our next target milestone. My five year is early next year and it does get easier. My triggers can pop-up occasionally, however it is not any serious urge to smoke like those first 9 months ..
Stay vigilant for any hint of a thought of one puff wont hurt please.
Because
"We dont smoke"

Well done 2befree, it’s 12 months for me today 22/9 to. I am glad we are both still on track
