No excuse?

Hi Quitters
Just dropping in to advise or suggest that when a shock or extra stress arises, to not let it affect your goal of Quitting.
We dont need to be blindfolded of events in our world that horrify. Some unexpected death in our community. Or disappointment with that promotion at work you were over-looked.
These can be classed as an excuse or a cop-out for delaying the inevitable of the freedom gained from leaving the smokes behind in your wake!
In Australia we are leaving tobacco smoking out of our lifestyle in droves. Its just a pity BIG TOBACCO are behind alot of other products we dont need.
I'm still shocked about madman killing 6 innocent people in sydney shopping centre!
I wonder if he was a smoker that couldnt afford to purchase his smokes or vape or meth or cocaine?

Whatever horrid acts arise, or how bad our day has been, we know that smoking does not reduce the stress. Smoking causes much more stress and solves nothing. Just another senseless action in itself.

Hi PuffNoMore,
I find I’m a lot more satisfied with What Is these days and not really concerned with my own drama anymore.

That is a very important point Cuba. In the early day;s of smokers Quit. Often unpleasant withdrawal symptoms sometimes arise and under extra stress can push them back into the habit again.
Definitely better to look forward to the benefits of no longer smoking.
AND
Less of worrying of our own little drama.
