It is exactly two years today since I gave up smoking. I don'e even want to remember the days when I smoked heavily. I regret that I had even started. Trust me smoking takes a lot of things away from you. I wish I had not wasted all those hours which would otherwise be more fruitfully spent on family and may be career progression. Nevertheless I am happy that finally I was able to kink the habit. I wat to take this whole challenge one level up today! I consider this day to be very lucky. Hence, I will give up alcohol from today. Alcohol has been another pain in my life. I drink quite heavily and I believe this has something to do with quitting smocking. I have spoken to my family to get support and from today I am a teetotaler. Wish me luck as I move towards a very healthy lifestyle.

First let me congratulate you Partha on this very significant milestone. While we may never be but one cigarette away from being smokers again, we know more these days and how to respond accordingly should the need arise. We have learned to love our new life, the freedom, the money and the sense of accompllishment.

This renewed belief in our selves does take many of us into better places in our lives overall.

Congratulations in your readying your self for this new phase. You will be a winner yet again I am sure!

Congratulations are in order!!!

While we continue to enjoy our freedom from fumigating every part of our immediate environment with smoke. That is completely different to enjoying an alcoholic drink once a week. One drink doesn't make it ok to one smoke.
