Another attempt after so many restarts. I have been on this vicious roller coaster ride. I get to a couple of weeks feeling good and think I’ll just have one which of course turns into a packet. has been my quit for the last year no wonder I’ve been feeling exhausted and just so defeated. Need to get this done once and for all. I just want to feel better and happy. Need to stop

Needing to stop is not the same as WANTING to stop. You want to smoke on some subconscious level Do you know why? You know that there is no thing as just one. Might as well say i'll just smoke thousands and even more thousands of dollars worth.

Have you read the free Allan Carr e-link that I have provided several times. It's free, so if you haven't read it how can you say you really want to quit smoking. It can change your mind about how you think about smoking and make quitting even easy..

Do you come here faithfully to keep your resolve?

Do you know WHY we smoke? How we were duped? We did not choose to smoke for a lifetime, but we can choose to quit smoking.

Learn to want to quit smoking. Believe that you can. Think positive. You CAN do this.

Hello, thank you for posting this, as you took the words right out of my mouth! I think the failure only drives me to continue smoking because I give up hope each time ☹️

In your case, my case and the vast majority of us. this one puff must not happen, otherwise its back to being held to ransom by the big tobacco.

A minority can manage to have an occasional cigarette here and there and get away with it>

Ive decided to accept that my day's of smoking are dead and buried. Sometimes I like to stand next to a smoker whilst having a bit of a chat and I know that is as far as it gets.

Even those people who manage to just have an occasional cigarette are still very much stuck in the loop. They look upon it smoking in a wistful way, wishing they were smoking full time.

I think it’s very much about just killing the habit for good and living in freedom from the monster which is nicotine. It can be very hard to quit but if you just persevere through the cravings and tough times you can do it !
