schedule 6 Jan 2021

Finally made it to the 6wk mark. Longest 6wks of my life. I dont crave the smokes anymore🙌 but still suffering from anxiety 🤦‍♀️. I feel good for 2days, then anxiety kicks back in for day. I've had no coughing (yet) I definitely feel better then I did 2-4wks ago. I'm managing the anxiety with those natural HS health vitamins, they are definitely helping

Well done Neveragin, don't look back now just keep on with your routine. As far as anxiety is concerned, we are living in chaotic times, and this means you are trying to deal with other outside issues other than not having a cigarette.

It is a learning process as you know, so perhaps you still need to read up on the harm that Nicotine does to your body and also how it enslaves you both mentally and physically, I found a video which helped me fully understand my need to avoid certain situations or to put it on hold for another day. " How to Grow to be a Happy non-smoker by NASIA DAVOS " it is on Utube from TEDxUniversityofPiraeus. Please reward yourself in some way often, your achievement of 6 weeks is worth it. NOPE (not one puff ever)

Great job Neveragain37.

Chemicals in cigarettes have our sensors confused having their source cut off. There are natural ways to raise levels of serotonin and dopamine. Do some research and eat your way to better health!

Exercise will also help you will stress. Take time for yourself to walk around the block or meditate or both!

Coughing up the tar in your lungs once the celia feel better and able to function to capacity again is not unexpected. Take it as a good sign unless you have reason to feel it has gone on too long or have other health concerns. Alway see a doctor when in doubt.

Keep up the journey to a better you!

Hi Never-again, I'm hoping your having a good day today?

In the early days of my Quit I would get-up and go on random walks, day or night. Rain or shine, h#ll or high-water.

Of course work and other responsibility's can get in the way and stretch us out a bit, but walking was very much a help to me. Still is.

And, congrats on surpassing the six week mark.
