Never thought I would reach this day!

It's my day 75 and I had never imagined that I would reach this day smoke-free in my life. I had been smoking for about 16 years before I quit. This has bought in a sense of achievement in me. I feel so good about myself. I would see my friends and cousins who never picked smoking and curse myself for having picked this habit. I must say that my mental abilities are much better now. I sometimes pass one or two days without even remembering about smoking. I hope to continue on this path.

You;re doing so good to forget about your old habit, I was hesitant to remind you of it.
Stay on course and you;ll rack up one hundred days easy.
great going.

I think is is good to be reminded of just how much we are capable of. Doesn't it feel great to be in charge? Hasn't quitting given you a new freedom and lease on life. All the benefits you now get to experience. Would you trade them all to return to "what?"
Clarity, confidence and great pride can be felt now, when we once believed that we would die it's prisoner.
We all have the tools and power to break free when we BELIEVE.
Congratulations!

Thank you, everyone! Being a part of this community has helped me in my journey to lead a smoke-free life. I have lost a lot of things to this habit which I now want to gain back. Quitting this habit brings so many good things to life. I meditate every morning, enjoy taking hot water baths, read interesting books, am much more patient, enjoy conversations with people I meet without having to take a break, spend hours with my family. I don't want to take another puff in my life. Thank you all for your kind words. It keeps me motivated in this journey.
