Keep fit

Hi all
I come back from my slip up 2 weeks ago dusted myself off and carried on as a non smoker. I'm so happy that I actually didn't give in completely and go and buy a packet because that is what I would have done before.
I really wanted to stop smoking and I did
I didn't let that addiction get the better of me I took back control and carried on as a non smoker.
I am a non smoker.
I now walk every afternoon for 30_40 minutes and go and see my friend who is still a smoker and it does not bother me now. I will not let it bother me
No giving in to them horrible filth of things.
They do Nothing for us.
I am almost at the 4 month mark of been a non smoker.
Thanks for all the support here
I couldn't have done it without all the support here
I am a strong person and I no that now because I'm on my way to a smoke free life and I am enjoying it much more than been a smoker.
Start to another fresh smoke free week
Have a good one. I'm off for my afternoon walk. 🚭🚭💪😁😁

Hi Gemma 🙋I love hearing other non smokers enjoying their new life and the freedom that comes with it. I hope you had a lovely walk it sounded so good I wished I was coming with you. There sure is something wonderful about this new way of being and you put it across so beautifully. It's always great to hear how you're doing I am so stoked you didn't let a slip change your course. Keep skipping along Gemma you are a great encouragement for me.🧚👯❤️

Thanks Jess you are also great support to me and I love to read yoir stories
I had a lovely fresh walk listening to the birds and beautiful blue skys and the sun was shining. Lovely time of year.
It's coming into summer here in Australia and I'm so happy to be a non smoker for the 1st summer ever.

I also walked the dogs along our very healthy river, bursting with new life. Ducks and Drakes paddling their new brood of chicks in between the reeds.
It really is a lovely time of year and now I can see it clearly now.
I was previously too busy buying endless packets of cigarettes and way too preoccupied smoking them, I couldn't see through the smoke!

I can't tell you how happy I am that you moved past your slip and are back on the path to a more fulfilling life. We don't realize just how much we missed out on as smokers. Better late than never, and the sooner the better...are both fitting . I think your slip has made you stronger as well as many of those starting the journey. Knowing you are not alone, learning how strong you can be when needed, Understanding that there is more to fear than smoking rather than to quit smoking, are all good starts to the mindset needed. Staying positive about the journey rather than making excuses because you don't believe in your self. We believe that anyone can quit smoking because we did. Your story got a lot of response because we care....and you cared enough to post. Thank you.

Another beautiful smoke free day and off for another walk in this lovely blue sky evening walk 🙂🙂

Hi Gemma how are you doing? I've been having urges this afternoon so I have been keeping busy on this site reading commenting and posting. It keeps me safe till the urges pass.

Thank you so much Gemma for your reply. I really appreciate it. I have left you a comment on my post xo
