I am 4 days away from being 5 years nicoteen free and very much alive and kicking Yeah. Thanks Icanquit for getting me off to a great start. If Lia is around sorry I missed your 5 year date. 100 days ahead of me and a great quit buddy. Advice. The pain and torture does not last and eventually you will notice that days have passed and you haven't even thought about cigarettes. Did it cold turkey with really strong sweet coffee to help with the cravings. Now. Nicoteen free and sweet coffee only once in the morning. Good luck.

What a great success story. Congratulations and well done to you. You have just topped me up with more inspiration to help keep on this non smoking path

Thanks Jessfreeof
Good luck it really is worth the effort in many many ways. Forgot to mention I am 72 and smoked for 53 years.

Hi Dobbin. Thanks for the belated congrats. Received the email from Icanquit. No doubt you know how encouraging it is to know our milestones remain 100 days apart. Whenever I reach another I hope you are there 100 days away and just know it must remain that way. Would hate to be there without my quit buddy. I would be devastated if that ever changed and so would you. Can get scary having such long term success. However, it is not going to change as in taking a backwards step. A bunch of us weathered the storm. I often wonder if they are still quit. Enjoy that 5 year date. See you at 6 year anniversaries.

Hey Lia. Yes and both of us going through this Covid 19 as well. Great to hear from you. Yes like you I wonder if our group are still going strong without giving in to the demon. I expect they like us will pop up from time to time. Let’s keep that 100 days apart and keep the faith. See you soon quit buddy

What a great accomplishment Dobbin, congrats. It's been over 3 years for me but I know for sure that just one pull will take me back to a full-fledged addiction. Good luck and cheers.

Congratulations Dobbin, such a great milestone and achievement, I am now nearly 2 years smoke free NOPE (not one puff ever)

Sounds like I am the newvie at just 667 day of freedom. I know I will never go vack to veing a victim of nicotine again. Congratulations on 5 years to voth you Dovvins...sorry....and Lia, and to the others who have succeeded and lead other to do so admireavly. We can quit smoking. We are only a few .

Thanks folks and great to see you are still with us Red. So grateful for this forum and the friends I have made.

Congratulations Dobbin. It is so long since I have been here but I have a hugely sentimental connection to this site as I believe it was the essential support I needed when I quit. Good to see some familiar names 5 years down the track.
Well done!
