I quit after 30+ years of Smoking

No idea how it happened, been smoking since I was 17 and I'm 55 now. In mid-January this year, I just woke up one morning and said enough is enough, still don't know how I did it after so many feeble attempts over the years. It's like a switch in my head got flicked; only contributing factor is when I woke up that morning, I told myself I was a non-smoker. Only wish I had found that switch earlier.

What flicks the switch is sometimes a mystery, but suddenly WANTING TO QUIT Makes all the difference. We can give you lots of motivatiion to quit here rather than smoke. Allan Carr's book addresses why we smoke and a better understanding of WHY WE started. It is an addicfion and we never CHOSE TO smoke. Feeling railroaded and wanting to get back on track can provide that push we need to get started. Desiring freedom and spending our money and time more wisely is empowering. Anyone can quit smoking with the right mindset. Congrats to you and all the others who have chosen to be free.

Welcome and congratulations Tonestar, Gosh it happened with that invisible switch, it must have been lurking there for quite a while and decided to set you free, so keep the light on and NOPE (not one puff ever)

Nice work. I knew I had to stop my expensive and slow death from my smoking habit and I had to search for it!
I;m pleased you found IT so easily.
