schedule 8 Jul 2020

Hi fellows,

I'm glad that I can say that I passed 7th week and I have also reached 50 days mark.. In others words, it's unbelievable for me..

This week was significant.. begining of week was hard.. I was suprised and also angry that it is.. but I started to concentrate on things what I need to do and partially I want, so my head was busy and days passed quicklier and easier. end of week I felt that I think on it less and I felt good.. I know I will write story of week 7 and honestly I didn't want it.. I didn't want think about ciggies and quiting and so on.. Day 50 was wau for me.. I understood now I'm on a half way to freedom.. new target is 100days /3digits no./ I will be strong enough to fight everything.. but I already feel I reached it.. my dream.. that now I can say I'm Martin and I'm non smoker..50 days.. that's how long it took to me.. Finally I got it..

My life isn't perfect, daily I fight agaist it but now it's easier as before.. I know I didn't win yet, but I win every day and it's so great that I don't want to go back..

Motto for this week: If you were strong enough to get this far, you are strong enough to keep going..

Hi Martin. Congratulations on another milestone. While it is great to have an initial goal to motivate you and assess your commitment and success, I think they put undue pressure on while there should be none. The difficult part to accept is the change of the norm. We smoked for so long, that every day had its many times and places to take a moment or seven for that insatiable fix. It only made us feel so great because of the drug that gave us a jolt of pleasure and the relief of ending that "hunger". So time to make these adjustments in our new chosen lifestyle will take some thought as to how to fill these gaps. Once we settle into our new routine without having to "think" we will continue our days without much thought if any to smoking. Accepting that you have already made your goal a reality, FINAL answer, enjoy it fully with the apprehension. Remember that this was a CHOICE, one of the best choices you will make in your lifetime. Remember that you have won. Remember how proud you are of your accomplishment.

WITHOUT the apprehension (stress) or worry of failure. Enjoy your success .

Hello again Matic, congratulations for 50 days. You have reached your goal, the problem in saying it is not perfect is not helping you to make it easier, to make it easier, your internal thoughts should now be, I just don't smoke. NOPE (not one puff ever) there is a subtle difference, but a big one in your brain, the struggle if you need to have one is of another situation, when you find out what this situation is you either ignore it, or change it. It has nothing to do with smoking. Well done for 50 days.
