Feeling very lonely, done 56 days of no smoking i went cold turkey, need people to talk to me. I am on my own my worry and anxiety is bad, i try to activities to overcome this but my mind wanders back to being isolated. Just for info i cant talk about what's going on in the world as it sets off my panic attack. I am not watching the news and have come off social media

Hang in there goodness786 the pandemic will become less of a threat and abnormal way of life soon. If you absolutely need interaction of kind, why not just sit in a park a people watch. Assure yourself that life does go on. We all cope as best we can. Some with partners and some without. Maybe some envy you being on your own! Pick up the phone, go for walks, feed the sqirrels, enjoy the sunshine.Turn up the volume and dance around the living room. Maybe spa time for yourself, a luxurious bath, facial, try a new do and do your nails. Do things that please you and make you feel good. Make a special meal and drop one off to someone. They will appreciate the thought and it will make you feed good.

Thank you Happiness and TryingTK I am in uk and the weather here is awful and cold. I do have one friend who is very patient with me and stays on the phone for a while, last night my anxiety was quite bad and and i ended up ringing my ex husband lol. Its is such a difficult time as uk is in Lockdown.
I even asked my ex husband to move in how insane is that, and naturally he was happy to take the offer up lol

I feel the same 2days ago..I was cryin lol. I stop watching the news and uninstalled my social media account. Now I'm playing rpg game to distract me haha

That's good Sadm3 i can't bear to watch anything on TV but at the same finding it very difficult to relax and reassure myself.
At least you are good at games that fantastic xx

A Meditation Technique that can work.
If you like close your eyes imagine your climbing a Pole that reaches far higher than the Clouds. Climb the Pole slowly, Observe the green landscape the blue sky on the horizon, Feel the Whisper of breeze on your Face, and arms, concentrate on your breathing, climb the pole slowly its ok there is no danger make your way through the dew in the clouds . When you feel your as high as you want to climb, "Leap off the pole. Free fall, glide like a bird, feel the Wind buffer your Body tell your self that you will fall for eternity. When you feel relaxed enough.
Should feel much more at Peace.

Hey goodness786. Please don’t torture yourself over all the exaggerated news on Covid. I would suggest signing up for a course on Coursera. It can help if you occupy your brain with many facts about a specific subject. I dunno, it helps me anyway. Congrats on your many many days of not smoking. Peace ✌️
