Hi and thank you for comments from my previous post. Am continuing on with my journey.. took the wrong turn a few days ago. I

Did try a nrt patch after my slip, it made me worse. I’m now working through it with no patches. I didn’t see the point of putting nicotine back into my system due to a slip after I had been off the patches for weeks. I’m not canning patches, or any other stop smoking aid whatever works for us all is fantastic. Am grateful that the slip I did experience taught me so much. Looking forward to the next discovery in this journey ...

Take your stance again.

We dont smoke, Say it over and over again if you choose to not smoke.

Get the $2,000 extra in your bank a/c every quarter. if not more like $14,000 per annum!

Take it day by day Zen. I have and saved $2,500 in my 3 months.

I cant be bothered explaining how much better I feel .

Great that you didn't totally give in, keep right on counting from the beginning of your quit date, minus the slip up ones. Be vigilant about your Mantra Nope (not one puff ever) every day or whatever you choose to say to yourself. You have the mindset already, don't let the Nicodemon into your thoughts.

Hi Zen Calm. You will get through this difficult time. Try to stay positive and picture yourself in the future . I fell into my quit y mistake trying to bbetter my health. I tried a ginger and turmeric lung cleanse on line. Spices boiled down with onion. I took an ounce morning and night chased by honey. Vile, but after a week I woke and didn't feel like a smoke, put it off, joined a group and Voila! Afterwards i learned that ginger curbs cravings. I didn't know that and I hadn't read Allen Carr yet. My husband decided to join me in quitting but waited to read the book. I guess I was willing and accepting because I had no problem. Neither did he nor my daughter. I now take ginger and turmeric for their fantastic health properties. I add a bit of each with black pepper to a powdered chicken broth as a soup, or add to milk or nut milk warmed with honey for a relaxing drink. Recipes are on line. Hope this helps.
