Trying

Hi everyone,
Today is 51 days that i have been a none smoker.
Extremely pleased with myself.
Little stressed as i have lost job as my contract has ended.
Back to casual and only getting calls every now and then.
People always ask if i have saved so much money
I personally have not ,bit at least i am able to pay my rent ,whichever i probably wouldn't have able to do if i had continued they way i was.
Qith the increase in price in Australia i would have been spending around $50 a day

That would be close to $350 a week
It's crazy ...
I actually in no way make that amount hahaha

Major High 5s to you on 51 days...
You should be very pleased with yourself as you have Quit the Smokes...
Be strong and don't let the stress get to you cause in your weaker moments,
that is when you are at your most vulnerable to your false friends (smokes).

Good on you Trying. Congratulations on 51 days.
I am in a similar situation with my job. So glad I only have to feed the family, not the nico-demon. I was a bit of a snob with the smokes, only smoking B&H, about 12-15 a day. So "only" saving about $30 a day.
I saw a fellow at the smoke counter at Coles yesterday. Actually handing over coins to buy a pack. He could only afford a pack of 20. He raced out of the shops with his prize in hand. I saw him in the car park when I got out there a few minutes later, him and a mate chuffing one each down like their lives depended on it.
Thank goodness we are free.

We should all be proud of ourselves for ending that costly relationship! And pity those still hooked.
Keep Trying

We are lucky. We have been given the support and tools to free ourselves. Pity the ostriches!
