Thank you

Thank you all for the support you gave when I was stumbling.
Much appreciated.
I was having a really hard time on day 6.
I have changed some thing and am in a total different place
After reading comments from my first post that i made reaching out, and the majority of Allan
Carr Book
I removed my patch on Saturday night and just didn't replace it.
I am now on my 8th day smoke free and 2nd totally nicotine free
Doing well as of today.
Will take it day by day
Again thank you everybody

I am sure we are equally delighted that we could be of help, not only to you but to others who will read your story in the future also looking for help. I know I am tickled pink when i hear of someone making headway or turning the corner and especially delight in stories of the nicotine monster being brought to his knees.
Success stories raise dopamine, bring joy and hope, and the smiles keep the wrinkles away ;) Keep On Keeping On

So CHUFFED to hear of your totally Awesome success...
You might not realise it but you're THERE!

Hi Trying,
Thanks for giving us the heads up on starving your body tissues and your brain of nicotine. The cold turkey or (chicken) approach is probably the quickest way. The people who advocate cold turkey method will be tickled pink.
I have almost no doubt that, you have created your success story.
A Quit has to start from a day 1 , And now your over a week!
THATS FANTASTIC

Its great to get a thankyou now and again, it makes it seem all worthwhile for us here, we too have had our struggles and ups and downs in the process, but let me say you have done extremely well at this time of year, when sometimes it gets a bit chaotic. The recommended book seems to be serving you well. There is a video which I found helpful to say the least, it gets into the nitty gritty of our feelings and reactions, it serves as a reminder that you can be either happy or miserable during the whole process. When you have a minute please consider watching "How to grow to be a happy non-smoker by NASIA DAVOS. TedxUniversityofPiraeus....its on u tube. Well done
