Made it 68 Hours...

Well, I almost made it three days then yesterday had an argument with my fiancée and then smoked three in half an hour. At the moment I’m back at it, trying to find the motivation to stop again😔 I hate this viscious cycle

Get all the reinforcement you can get Trying TK. Watch the video that Softly suggested. Read Allan Carr. These have helped us and many others, and just may help you as well. Understanding yourself and your relationship with nicotine helps to bridge the gap. Once you know you can go on without it in your life you will find it easier and easier to adjust to your new routine. Feeling normal again and comfortable your own skin again.
Take a deep breath and remember all the reasons why you quit and how proud you felt for taking the steps. It is the most important thing you can do for yourself and your loved ones. Be an inspiration to those here reading and those at home. You can do this.

Please don't fall back to using cigarettes as emotional crutches which is what I have done. Nothing changed the situation by smoking. In fact it made you feel worse. Angry weak and low and disappointed in yourself. If you had turned away from cigarettes the feel I g of strength within is euphoric. Situation the same but you stronger. I'm nor being a smart know it all. I'm on Day 4 so long long long way to go. Try the 1 minute. 10 minutes. 1 hour deferring to have that cigarette. I am. I'm doing different things but good things so I feel good about myself rather than hating my weak self. I'm glad you are still on this page. You'll succeed. Don't give up. One day. One patch. Then 2 and one day we'll be saying 365 days and at this stage for me that seems so huge but I want to be that person. Are you using patches? Get some gum to boost your low times.

How are you feeling TK? Are you finding this forum helpful? What have you found in the book that ALLEN CARR wrote?
I find that Allen helps take the fear of Quitting the smokes away for a while and gives a sense of inspiration to give it a go and stop.........
I've stopped plenty of times, unfortunately, never permanently. 2 years here, 18 months there, 55 days last year, 30 days this year lol. what a joke and like you am annoyed and hateful of the vicious cycle.
We hope to hear from you soon with news of breaking the habit, or atleast let us know what you thought of that book.
