So I kind of took some puffs last Sunday...I was feeling very down.

I did not like the taste though...

I feel very bad and ashamed about it :( I usually manage the stress without thinking about having a smoke, but on Sunday, I felt as if I did not care anymore about anything.

I just had to get this off my chest.

Lori you have to start telling yourself that you are not a smoker. Put it behind you and move on. I was a heavy smoker and I'm on 73days now. Keep the hard work up and rep the rewards once your free from the cigarette. Don't let this set back hold you down.

Thank you, Samp :) I am not planning on going back to smoking. I just don't want to go back to coughing, that ashy taste in your mouth in the mornings, the occasional tightness in your chest, the occasional wheezing, plus the constant stress that I might develop something. Definitely not!

Nobody in here can/will judge you, since we all understand the temptation and what it feels like. Its the classic "there but through the grace of God go I"

The question to ask yourself was "did it bring me happiness" and "was it worth it." I reckon the answer is no to both.

Remember this the next time youre close to caving.

You have been doing great for almost 2 months now Lori_me. Be proud and take encouragement from your journey this far. No time like the present to just pick yourself off and keep going. You have learned that caving in will not bring you that happiness. Continuing this journey, step by step will cross you to the other side where you can really be happy with your efforts and take satisfaction in reaping the rewards.

Think positive. You can do this!

Thank you, Happiness :) As always, you are an amazing supporter :D

Lori_me, you are a strong individual to have had a smoke and not go back to smoking. Take this as an experience that will make your resolve stronger but try to keep this in mind. If you are stressed and you start smoking because you are stressed you will have two problems instead of one. That is the original problem that caused stress to begin with and a new problem, that is, smoking. Good luck and stay strong.

Sorry for my late reply :) @Nuts I know how easy you can become a smoker again. The second I had my first puff, I remembered why I had chosen to quit. I am strong!!! :D Thank you :* @Happiness, yes, things are back on course. Thank you so much for all your support. You guys are amazing :) Hope you are all doing great. Many hugs from me as well.
