Often I am having trouble with boredom when I am waiting to do something or just sitting around. I sat to my self I need to just relax, try doing breathing exercises but find it very hard.

Since I have started this non smoking I have locked my self away not going anywhere. Tomorrow I need to meet with other people and while it makes me feel anxious remain hopeful that I will handle my feelings.

If any one can give me advise on ways to handle these feelings I would appreciate it.

The last thing you want to do is lock yourself away and feel deprived of a life worth living. That is why i got a divorce!!! Just wasn't going to accept there wasn't more to life. Now things have changed and i am happy and fulfilled. You will experience the same after the adjustment to quitting smoking. Yes , believe in life after love, in life after divorce, ......... and more certainly life after smoking!!!

You will have so much more energy, self assurance, respect and gratitude. Embrace the new found freedom and never fear it. Why would anyone ever fear freedom , choice, better health , respect from yourself and others and so many more benefits??

If they are your friends they will support and wish you well. Be Happy.

It is a great site Geo. In fact it was in a members quit there that i found the Allan Carr Link that i posted. It was given by a quit Councillor on the site, so must be allowed although the site itself didn't seem to endorse links or the using of them. That site can also be used to discuss other problems in life besides smoking and may be of benefit to others with various problems. Thanks for the link Geo!
