only 1 smoke
the ex came around yesterday, ended up having 2 puffs on her smoke, tasted bad, I don't class this as a setback - more a learning experience, had a few beers at the club this afternoon & the 2nd hand smoke made me cough - 20 days, feeling great (money saved has paid for bike rego)

My set-backs started with one puff, then another, n then once I had one full cig I was hooked again.

Hi dpen. Keep adding to the quit days tally. Don't let anyone sabotage your plan. Why would a smoker deliberately light up in front of someone trying to quit? Why would a smoker do ANYTHING to make your decision a challenge. I am sure there is an explanation but none of us would believe it. Yes, you will become healthier and all those $s lying around in your wallet will pay for life's luxuries. You will be amazed at what you can afford just after a week, a month and a year... Stay true to yourself.
Glad to hear you kept on track, sorry to hear your ex was so uncaring. Some smokers just don't know how addictive nicotine is, but we here do. Some smokers are so envious of you for succeeding whereas they did not. Misery loves company....??? If only they could all understand that they too have the capability of quitting this vile addiction. We have. Anyone can if they understand nicotine, WANT to become a non-smoker and Believe that they can!
